The Three C’s Of Leadership
Critical Thinking
Learning Objective
Critical Thinking is a key characteristic of leaders at it enables them to assess the situation, evaluate options, and choose a course of action. Critical Thinking allows leaders to formulate informed and relevant inferences, solve problems, calculate probabilities, and make better decisions. The Critical Thinking activity of the Program will provide training to foster critical thinking skills for all participants.
Activity
Forest Escape is an escape room type activity that requires a group to solve multiple puzzles in a short time frame to avoid a fictional catastrophe. This is a Ground Based activity.
Communication
Learning Objective
Leaders must be able to communicate their goals and expectations, as well as provide clear and timely feedback. In the Communication activity of the Program, we focus on assisting the leader in learning the key principles of effective communication.
Activity
A true test of verbal and non-verbal communication, teams will be challenged in this ground-based activity to navigate through the Go Ape version of a “minefield” to successfully complete the activity.
Challenge
Learning Objective
Resilience training is critical in developing leaders and organizations that can overcome adversity. Utilizing the process of Stress Inoculation Training, participants will work together to develop the practice of being comfortable with the uncomfortable.
Activity
Participants will experience an exciting adventure on a premier high ropes and zipline course with varying obstacle style crossings which require different levels of physical effort and technical approaches. They will work towards encouraging each other for successful completion of the course, learning to support and overcome physical challenges and internal fears.
