The next step toward adventure takes some courageous Discovery! This experience is a shortened version (approx. 60-90 minutes) of our original Treetop Adventure (2-3 hours), introducing you to some of the long ziplines and tree-to-tree crossings our course has to offer.

FOREST ESCAPE
Forest EscAPE is an interactive and unique outdoor experience for families, friends, & co-workers. Work together with your best problem solving skills in a fun & immersive natural environment. Pick your teammates carefully, because each session is private, and it’s up to you to conquer all the forest contains. Forest EscAPE is perfect for birthday parties, team building, scout groups, and more.

Child (Ages 6 & Under – 5+ recommended): One adult (18+) is required to supervise per Forest EscAPE game. They must supervise as a participant.
Youth (Ages 7 – 15): One adult (18+) is required to supervise per Forest EscAPE game. They can supervise as a participant or as a non-participant while following the group through the forest.
Young Adult (Ages 16 – 17): 16- and 17-year-olds do not require a supervising adult, but they do require a waiver signed by their legal guardian.
Current Mission:
There have been stories for years that a mysterious and rare type of new crystal can be found in Rock Creek Regional Park. A reclusive geologist once set out to find the crystal, but was never heard from again. You are all geology students who have found yourself in his abandoned campsite, searching to find the crystal before raiders can stop you—it’s supposedly worth millions!

Go Ape is a tree-mendous adventure for groups of all sizes and ability levels. Our zipline and ropes courses set the stage for a one of a kind activity and thrilling team bonding experience. Take on suspended bridges, swinging obstacles and epic ziplines as you explore the forest canopy with your group. Many sites also have ground-based games including Axe Throwing, Forest EscAPE, and Gorilla Golf!

Local Tips
Go Ape can get busy, especially on weekends and holidays. Booking your adventure in advance ensures you get your preferred time slot. If you move fast, we recommend getting in early when there are fewer guests on the course.
Plan for the weather! Check the forecast and dress appropriately for your Go Ape adventure. Remember, Go Ape operates in most weather conditions, so be prepared for rain or shine. If the temperatures are high, wear light-colored, loose-fitting, moisture-wicking clothing and sunscreen. If it’s cool, wear layers that can be easily removed if needed.
Eat a protein-rich meal and stay hydrated the day before and of your reservation. Go Ape is a physically active activity, and you’ll want to be hydrated and have stable blood sugar to stay safe!
Water is available throughout your adventure and additional drinks are available for purchase, such as Sports drinks. Bring athletic gloves (or purchase at site), sunscreen, bug spray, and any medical necessities you have, such as epipens, if needed. We do not recommend bringing anything that can fall into the forest, such as hats and sunglasses. Leave your belongings at home or in your car; we can keep hold of your car keys. Phones can be brought into the trees if they are securely attached to you. Phone holders are available for purchase at site.

About Rock Creek Regional Park

It also happens to be the home of our flagship Go Ape Zipline & Adventure Park location. We made our US debut back in 2010 and have been delivering epic adventures ever since.
