KNOW BEFORE YOU GO

  • Park entrance fee required:
For details on park entrance fees please visit destateparks.com
  • Sneakers or ankle supported boots required. No sandals, open-toed or slip-on shoes.
  • You may want to wear gloves. Feel free to bring your own or you can purchase them from us (only $6).
  • Long hair should be tied back, waists covered and body piercings and jewelry removed or taped over.

If you are worried about your knees knocking and your arms trembling, you are not alone. Turns out Go Ape is a fantastic way to overcome your fears! We are extremely proud to have helped many of our guests conquer their fear of heights. Why not give it a try? Don’t let a fear of heights get in the way of an awesome new experience.

We recommend that you plan to arrive 10-15 minutes before your scheduled session time. This will ensure you have plenty of time to find your way through the park, park your car, complete any paperwork and use the restrooms before you start your adventure. You may want to increase that time on weekends and holidays when both the park and Go Ape experience increased traffic. If you arrive late and miss your adventure, or cancel day of, you are still charged for your session, so be sure to leave yourself some extra time.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Lums Pond State Park is home to the largest freshwater pond in the state of Delaware. With camping, boating, fishing and horseback riding, Lums Pond State Park is a nature lovers paradise.

Hidden in the trees alongside that pond is Go Ape Treetop Adventure and Treetop Journey. A completely unique outdoor recreation experience, these exciting high ropes courses include suspended obstacles, rope ladders, Tarzan swings, and some truly epic zip lines. More than a simple canopy tour, the Treetop Adventure takes between 2-3 hours to complete and includes zip lines over the pond. Treetop Journey is a 1-hour activity that is appropriate for all ages, and a great introduction to an aerial adventure course. Inspiring views lead to memorable adventures.
