FAQs

What are Go Ape's hours of operation?

For hours of operation, check your specific location page to check availability.

What is Go Ape's weather policy?

Go Ape is open rain or shine and the ultimate all-weather outdoor activity. If it’s extremely hot, we’ve got you covered, literally! On average it feels several degrees cooler under the forest canopy and we have water stations conveniently located throughout our courses. We do monitor for snow, ice, lightning and high winds, and will close the course as necessary to keep guests safe. Refer to our cancellation policy for additional details.

Are gloves required at Go Ape?

Participants must wear gloves for all Treetop and ziplining activities. Gloves can be brought from home or are available for purchase at Go Ape.

If bringing gloves from home, we recommend gloves that have a have a good grip and fit. Gloves used for activities such as kayaking, bicycling, and even gardening are perfect! Single-use gloves are NOT permitted.

Gloves are not required for Forest EscAPE, Axe Throwing, or Gorilla Golf.

What discounts does Go Ape offer?

We offer discounts to active duty military, veterans, first responders, teachers, students, and senior citizens. To receive a discount for any of these categories, please contact us and have an ID ready.

What should I wear to Go Ape?

In the Treetops:  For these outdoor activities, we encourage you to come in clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We recommend participants check the weather before arriving and dress appropriately for the conditions. Fully enclosed shoes are required. We recommend ankle-supporting boots, but sneakers are fine too. We do not allow participants to wear sandals, open-toed or slip-on shoes. Participants must wear gloves. Gloves can be brought from home or are available for purchase at Go Ape. Long hair has to be tied back, waists covered and body piercings and jewelry removed or taped over. Weighted clothing and any materials that would impact your ability to breathe are not permitted on our activities. Go Ape has the right to refuse any clothing that may compromise your safety. You may want to bring a change of clothing for the journey home.

For Throwing Axes:  There isn’t a dress code; however, we recommend wearing clothes that will give you the mobility to easily perform an overhead throw. We do not allow participants to wear sandals, open-toed or slip-on shoes.
