After dark, the forest transforms into a glowing Halloween playground:

Costumes Encouraged (Safely!)

We love when guests dress up! To keep everyone safe on the course:

Costumes must fit under the harness and cannot compromise fit.
Hands and feet must remain free.
No masks that block vision.
No capes, loose fabric, glitter, or body paint (nothing that could get on the harness or pose trip, slip, or fall risks).
Closed-toe shoes required.
Must be family-friendly and appropriate. No weapons or inappropriate costumes.

Ghoul Guides reserve the right to deny a costume if it poses a hazard to your safety or the safety of other guests.

Daytime Fall Fun: September 19 – November 1
Sunset Sessions: September 1 – close of season. Sunset Session take place less than 3 hours before the sun sets – a shorter experience with peak golden views.
Nighttime Adventures: Select nights September 19 – November 1

What’s the difference between daytime and nighttime Go Ape Halloween activities?

Daytime adventures include fall foliage views, pumpkin decorating, crafts, and scavenger hunts. Nighttime adventures feature glowing ziplines, eerie forest ambiance, and special themed activities.

Is this family-friendly?

Yes! Daytime events are perfect for kids and families, while nighttime adventures are designed for slightly older kids (though all are welcome), teens, and adults who want spooky – but not terrifying – fun. See your local Go Ape’s age and supervision requirements.

Do I need to wear a costume?

Costumes are encouraged but not required. See our guidelines above for safe options.

What ages can participate?

Most Go Ape Treetop Journey and Nights at Height courses are open to kids ages 5+ and adults of all ages. Some activities, like Treetop Adventure, may vary by location. See your local Go Ape’s age and supervision requirements.

Will there be food or drinks?

Hot chocolate and cider, as well as snacks, are available at select locations. Guests are welcome to bring their own snacks for after the adventure. Our Ghoul Guides are also happy to make recommendations for after-adventure food.
